Over the last six months or so I have been posting pieces I've written from the archive here, and new pieces, at a Substack account I have created, and while the response there hasn't been deafening, there has in fact been a response--unlike as has the case for some years now here.

So, some interaction trumps zero interaction.

For that reason, I have decided to shutter things at my blogspot and focus on the Substack.

Ours would I think be a better world if Facebook and Twitter hadn't destroyed the briefly vibrant blogosphere, but I need to live in the world I inhabit.
